34 weeks Belly

I just had to put this picture up because my belly looks so fake...as if i put a basketball right under my shirt!!! Dylan your getting so big and Im starting to get contractions...Braxton hicks maybe!!? I dont know but I think you are ready to come out. Baby Shower 11/21/09

So my parents threw Michael and I a surprise baby shower on November 21, 2009. It was so funny because I knew I was going to my baby shower and came prepared( hair done, nails done, dressed to impress lol). I had been buggin my mom about it and knew that it would happen around the time is was 8 months...As you can see I am no good with SURPRISES!!! lol Anyway it was great and we were very thankful for all of the wonderful gifts that we'd received for baby Dylan. We were even able to order the crib and furniture set with the cash received from the shower!! Michael dressed up as a baby with a pamper, pacifier, and bib...it was so funny!

We got everything the baby needs...now I am just counting the days to when he is born. As of now I am 34 weeks pregnant. Here are some pictures from the shower and a picture of my belly at 34 weeks.

30 Weeks pregnant!

Last week was Halloween so I decided to dress up and go the the party my family and their friends throw every year. I dressed as a cat...and baby are u making mommy sexy!!!! lol...

I cant wait for you to see these pictures. you will have the flyest mom ever...lol

Time is flying by and there is about 2 months before you come out!! I am excited and scared at the same time....but mostly excited to hold you when your born! ;) My baby Dylan I cant wait for you to come out...also because you are giving me sharp pains as well!! lol

28 W 3D Sonograms

This past Sunday I went for an elective 3D, 4D sono. Dylan was not cooperative because he was too busy sleeping the day away. I had orginally scheduled my apointment for 7pm because i knew that he would be a sleepyhead during the day however the songrapher was unable to take my appointment at the original time; so I had to push up my appointment to 3:30pm. The first attempt at getting fetal movements were a failure so the sonographer asked me to grab something to eat and drink orange juice and to return in 30 minutes. When i got back he was still sleeping in fact he would not move his arm out of his face lol. But after much massaging and shifting from side to side he finally gave us some nice pics...not to mention me moving to my side made him extremely upset at one point! lol..GRUMPY already! It was so exciting they recorded the baby's heartbeat and put it into a teddy bear (very cute!) He is getting so big I still cant believe he is in my belly!

26 Weeks Pregnant

I've been having some serious pregnancy aches... My baby is trying to make as much space as possible.I started to wear maternity clothing because my old clothes were just not comfortable to wear even after leaving my pants unbuckled.Overall I'm feeling just fine however my feet are getting a little swollen. I can't wait for him to come out so I can see what he looks like! As you can see in this picture my belly is pointy and low. Time is just flying by. I need to start getting my apartment ready for my lil one on the way... :)

6 Months Pregnant!

I am now 23 weeks 5 days...about 6 months prego. My belly has grown so much and the movements are just unstoppable! My next appointment is scheduled for 10/17/09; which is when my doctor will test for gestational diabetes. Dylan is now a little over 1 lb and about 8 inches. I've been moisturizing as much as possible to avoid the stretch marks! The pointy-ness of my belly validates that I am having a BOY!

During this week: My baby's face is basically complete now. The fetus's eyes are close together on the front of his face and they are still shut. The baby's ears have moved into their final position on the sides of his head. Where they are now is where they will be when your baby is born! Hair will continue to grow on his scalp and his eyelashes are well developed. Most of the baby's features look the same as they will at birth. Because my growing baby is getting plumper, he no longer has room in your tummy to do cartwheels and somersaults. The unborn child is covered with a fine, downy hair called lanugo. Its tender skin is protected by a waxy substance called vernix. Some of this substance may still be on the child's skin at birth at which time it will be quickly absorbed. The child practices breathing by inhaling (up to a liter/day) amniotic fluid into developing lungs.

21 weeks 5 days

I am 21 weeks and i look huge!! My baby is tossing and turning in this tummy. I should be having one healthy baby (God willingly).

Talking to Dylan

So yesterday I am home relaxing when Michael decides to come over and make conversation with Dylan. Michael was there rubbing my tummy and calling Dylan telling him to "come out and play with Daddy". He put his fist against my tummy as if he were fighting the baby telling him "come on Dylan fight with Daddy come on out". Then he did something that had me cracking up, with his mouth to my belly as if the baby could not hear him from far, he sat there and starting singing to him... "ABCDEFG..." I found this so cute I wanted to cry but i just laughed and he asked me why i was laughing and I simply told him "because you are so cute". It felt so nice to have Michael spend some time paying attention to my tummy. It made me feel good and I went to bed happy. The next morning as Michael was getting ready for work he came to me once again and kissed my stomach. Daddy love's you baby and we cant wait for you to come out even though we know you are really comfortable inside of mommy!

20 weeks 4 days Ultrasound 9/1/09 9am

OMG my baby boy is so gorgeous...I cant help being madly in love with him.

He is just so comfortable in my belly...sleeping away with his arms behind his head...just like his grandma sleeps. Technology is amazing! In the next he is ready to fight with his fists up like a boxer...exactly what Daddy has planned for him. He will be a natural! During the ultrasound Dylan was quite the active one..squirming around and putting his fists in his mouth. He is just so cute I cant wait for him to come out.

Lastly i cant believe that this is inside my belly...although my belly is getting pretty big! I am so happy this brings joy to my heart to know that us woman are able to give the miracle of LIFE!

20 weeks 3 days

I am now 20 weeks and 3 days prego! My third sonogram is tomorrow 9/1/09. I cant wait to see how much my little man has grown. He is now starting to show; my belly is definatley showing and I feel amazing. He has kept me beautiful...no acne...and nice long hair! Dylan you are doing Mommy very well! I love him so much. It is amazing how i am feeling him more and more as the days fly by. It is as if he is doing flips in my belly bouncing off my tummy...lol...i wish Michael could feel what I feel. Dylan's kicks are not strong enough yet to feel from ontop of my belly. I will take pictures tomorrow and post them. I definatley want to look back at this and see all the changes I went through. I've also began to sing to him at night. I sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, ABC's and Go To Sleep! I cant wait to hear his first cries. This is so amazing....I cant wait for you to be here baby.... it wont be long before your here. I am already half way through my pregnancy!

ITS A BOY!!!!!!!

OMG! I went to the doctors yesterday and found out that my baby is a BOY!! And my god has he grown since my last appointment (4 weeks ago). His arms and legs seemed very long as he just moved around inside my belly. I could see his fingers and toes clearly. His mouth and face are developed...He looks a little so far like his daddy! Ive uploaded two pictures from my sono photos; unfortunately they are not so clear but they will have to do! I am so excited not to mention my family is exstatic!

1st sonogram dated 7/8/09

I had my first sonogram on 7/8/09 at 12 1/2 weeks pregnant. It is just amazing how developed the baby is. I wanted Michael to take video of the ultrasound but the stupid lady would not allow him to do it. I am a little dissappointed because the sonographer did not make my first sono a good experience. She really didnt take the time to explain to me what I was looking at even though I could pretty much figure it out myself. It was soo amazing!!!! The baby actually looked like a baby and not alien-like... sorry baby...lol... I just could not hold back my tears it was such an amazing moment to see the baby floating around and making all these movements at just 12 weeks. Michael and I were cracking up because at one point the baby put his/her hand over the face as if the baby were smoking a blunt!!! HAHAHA just like Daddy! j/k lol... Anyway we were able to watch the baby for about 20 minutes although I wanted to watch longer. My appoinment was scheduled at 9am so the baby was slleeping and we new this because when the sonographer first began the sono the baby was not doing much and was still, so she began to press down on my stomach and "woke" up my baby! My baby is a sleepy head tooo....just like Daddy!! OH NO!!! Cant be too much like Dadddy now, save some for Mommy! OMG I was soo happy i could not hold back my tears it is amazing to see that this baby is living in me and is growing at such a fast rate... My next appointment is scheduled for 8/5/09 at which point I will be 17 weeks 5 days. I can only imagine how much the baby has grown in 5 weeks! I HOPE TO FIND OUT THE SEX!

2nd Appointment Scheduled Tomorrow 06/20/09

About 10 weeks now...have my second prenatal dr's appointment tomorrow. I am dieing to get a sonogram done so that I can get confirmation of how far long I am in my pregnancy. I am feeling extremely fat at this point and I am afraid that I may gain too much weight for my first pregnancy... Michael is a little annoyed with my weight "issue" and does not want to hear me complain. Only 2 more weeks until my first trimester is over...so that hopefully I can start enjoying my pregnancy as oppossed to feeling so emotional, tired and depressed at times. Its just amazing how the baby feels what you feel. When I am upset I begin to cramp...as if the baby is upset as well. I have learned that I must take it day by day and try my best not to let anything upset or stress me.

So I've been extremely excited to know whats going on inside of me week by week:

Week 10: The baby now enters its fetal period. The average size is approximately 27-35 mm crown to rump length (CRL), or 1.06-1.38 inches. S/he weighs in at 4 grams, or 4 paper clips. Tiny toes have formed. The eyes are largely open, but the eyelids are beginning to fuse, and will stay that way until 25-27 weeks. External genitalia is beginning to differentiate. External ears are completely formed, as well as the upper lip. The biggest accomplishment this week is the disappearance of the tail!

I am Pregnant!!!!!!!

OMG....I am pregnant and am so excited! I found out (5/8/09) 2 days before mothers day. I new immediately that I was pregnant and I am more excited now than ever. Today Friday 5/29/09 I am 7 weeks pregnant (at least I think I am per my calculations) :) I broke the news to my family this past weekend and I am extremely relieved that it is not a secret anymore. It meant so much to me that my dad be happy for me and just as I've hoped...he is happy for me!!! Life could not get any better. Michael told me everyday that everything would turn out ok...and he was soo right! I love you Michael so much for supporting me and being such a great boyfriend...and hopefully husband one day. I would be extremely happy to just have a beautiful healthy baby...but deep down I know I would love to have a little princess and so would daddy. Baby...you have been growing for 7 weeks only and I feel you growing inside of me and I love you so much already!!! I cant help it I want to tell everyone that I am pregnant but I am trying to wait 3 months before i let everyone know. Boy or girl you will be my truest love...because you are mine and belong to me and daddy. I am feeling tired and emotional...I've been feeling a lot of back pains and headaches lately. My first prenatal appointment was on 5/23/09. My next appointment is scheduled for 6/20/09..shortly after will i receive my first sonogram....I cant wait to see you baby!!! I pray to god everything goes perfect!

Baby you are growing 7 weeks inside of me which means that you growing rapidly during this week. By the end of this week you will weigh as much as an eyelash...i cant believe how tiny you are. Leg and arm buds are now beginning to show, which have been developing since the 6th week. Although the arm buds are developing, they have not even divided into hand and arm segments yet. At this stage your tiny heart has divided into the left and right chambers. The cerebral hemispheres, which make up the brain, are also growing, as well as the eyes and nostrils which continue to develop. Internal organs which are also developing include: appendix, pancreas, intestine bulges, which at this stage bulges into the umbilical cord.

It is just amazing how fast a baby grows in a matter or weeks!!!! BABY I CANT WAIT! MOMMY LOVES YOU SO MUCH...
