Toddler Stages (24 months-29 months)

My darling son you have turned out to be such a loving, happy, enthusiastic, energetic, charasmatic, beautiful, and smart baby (understatement more like little boy :') Words cant express the love that this mother feels for her child. I think of all the things i want to protect you from... Most of all i think about how grateful I am for giving birth to such an amazing and FUNNY CHILD! You are just too adorable for your own good and everyone who meets you immediately falls in love with your warm and loving personality (not too mention that beautiful smile you have...which definately warms any womans soul!) You have come a long way since i last blogged...hmmmmm where to begin: * You are running, jumping, dancing, climbing, throwing yourself all over. NO FEAR WATSOEVER! :) * You had your tonsils and adenoids shaven recently which has now (I believe) enabled you to speak clearer. I definately can see that you are trying very hard to form and repeat words. You are familiar with colors and particular shapes (such as circle). You LOVE The Wizard Of Oz...discovered by your grandparents :) You love action movies such as The Avengers (such a boy!) * You give the best kisses ever! They are soo powerfull and Strong! lol * You have come to identify who you are...You know that your name is DYLAN!! And you point to yourself and say "DYLAN!". One of the happiest moments i could ever experience. I am always proud as reach new milestones. * You love DADDY..and you love Brandon MOST OF ALL! I can definately see how much he means to you although you are just a tiny baby...you are constantly showing your big Brother soo much love and always look for his attention. You hug and kiss him all of the time. I promise to get a video of that! * You are currently getting lots of services to help with your speech and learning. Mommy is always on top of your education. I read to you just about every night. You are used to your routine eat, bath, brush teeth, story time....bed! :) * You are beginning to sing! The cutest thing ever. I love when we sing Old McDonald. Of course your favorite parts would be the animal sounds (such as Oink oink here and oink oink there)and EYY AIIYY EEYY AIYYY OHHHHH! LOL I JUST WANT TO HUG AND KISS YOU TILL YOU CANT TAKE IT! LOL * You love sports...baseball and basketball. Cant wait to out you in t-ball! * You immitate so much now...especially dancing moves. You memorize shows such as Fresh Beat Band..you know some of the dance moves! You also love Blues Clues...that is your SHOW now. lol * You blow a kiss to anyone as you wave good bye. Your therapists are in LOVE lol * You are a FAKER!! YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO GET OVER ON ME..BUT I CANT HELP IT YOUR MY WEAKNESS :) ALTHOUGH DONT THINK MOMMY WILL NOT GIVE YOU POW POW WHEN YOU DESERVE IT. By the way you crack up everytime i ask you "Do you want me to give you pow pow!". You laugh and repeat POW POW! lol I can go on and on an on about all of the wonderful things that you do but i am going to cut it short for now. enjoy the pics. I am so glad i started this blog because i look back at all of my posts and just think to myself...My God my baby is soo big...Time fly's and you dont notice how fast your little ones grow as its happening. I love you baby more than you know and could ever understand! :)

21 Months

Munchkin you are a little bit of a terror. You are into anything and everything! :) You love Yo Gabba Gabba, Fresh Beats, and Blues Clues. You say "a clue", "apple", "gabba", "GrandpA!", "Brandon (Andon)", "I did it", "Momma", "Dadda", "Che Che:....more i cant think of at the moment.You love to brush your teeth....you love your sleep. If I bother you in the morning you throw yourself back on your pillow and grab your blanky (plush one). You love to dance, your still barely cry, you still throw your bottle when your done drinking it. You are very picky and only want to eat white rice, cheerios, farina, french fries, chicken nuggets.

20 Months Old

My darling son...you are now more attached to me then ever! If i leave the apartment you are hysterical...when i make you your bottle at night you are right behind me latching onto my legs..head towards my butt! lol You are too adorable and are talking much more...best phrase from Dylan "i did it"...words... ball, eche (for leche), mama, dada, papa, titi, andon (for Brandon),a clue (from blues clues), uhh ohh....etc (cant remember them all right now). You love crackers and juice; will eat rice and farina...otherwise you are extremely picky. I need to bring out my sneaky chef recipes so that i can get you to eat more healthy. Dylan you are beginning the show symptoms of "terrible twos": When we say "lets go bye bye" and if we are not outside immediately you become very impatient and start yelling and pulling me towards the door. Also, if you want something and think your not going to get it you pinch and scratch and squeeze! Momma dont like what she is seeing! You are very emotional because after we tell you "DONT DO THAT", you put a sad face and make the sound "hmmmmmppp" as if you are about to cry....AWE i love you so much baby. Also your starting to get spoiled and want to sleep with momma all the time...no can do my love. Oh yea and you love to dance and already know how to breakdance! lol

From 13- 15 Months Old

Dylan has soo many teeth...i think ive lost count! I would say about 12 teeth. He has been experiencing seperation anxiety. When we drop him off at day care in the mornings...he doesnt want to let me leave...he just starts crying! Aweee He never did it until now....he wants to be with his parents always! What else is new this month.....UHHHHH U ARE WALKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLLLYYY You are walking on your very own! Better later then never Love you my baby. Oh and you are starting to bable on a conversation in your own baby language. :) You say momma, poppa, dadda, cacca, baby, light,whats that!? lol Also we got you a new hairstyle this month! How do you like it Dylan!? Everyone loved your cut :)

Also I have taken you to see an ENT specialist who told me nothing about your breathing, snoring and phlegm condition. So you were given a bronchoscpy by a pulmonogist who determined that you have enflammed tonsils, adenoids and redness in your bronchial tube. You are on antibiotics for 3 weeks; your next appointment is 5/16/11. The doctor will determine whether you should get surgery to remove your tonsils and adenoids. :( Ive also attached some random moments!

Lastly Titi Jo Jo gave birth to your little cuz Sanna Ciara Rivera on Daddys Birthday (March 12th!)

Dylan's First Birthday

Dylan's first birthday was taken place at Party Gym. we had such a good turnout and Dylan had fun playing around. Here are some pics of his special day. He did not like pizza very much :) But his party was The Backyardigans theme. Also Dylan got his first haircut the day before his birthday party :)
